| The
Post Human Haru represent Day's attempt to reproduce herself into a
distinct species. Because Day Toshi was originally a Human being, Day
requires Humans to act as the basis for her species. All Haru are inter
connected with each other in a networked yet seperable hive mind
configuration. The amount of individuality that a Post-Human Haru
retains is determined by its rank and position in the network. |

| Origin of the Haru |
|
As Day sank further and further into depression, Day wanted an escape from her problems in life. She continued to watch the Guardians she had such loving relationships die. The quality of Guardian she selected declined. More guardians stepped forward because it was a way to make a living, not for any attraction to Day. As Day's method of finding guardians started to collapse, she fell back to attempting traditional dating and courtship. Again she found this ineffective. Day had long since left her position as a police officer in Neygawa, and with her vast personal fortune, paid for mansion, and no obligations, found herself very bored. Nothing had really changed. Then there was the issue of Day's spanking fetish itself. Day was honestly tired of it haunting her and wanted an escape. She also thought that this would be the ultimate solution to her spanking related issues. If the Human race changed enough, spanking would vanish and be forgotten. This way, not only would no more Humans have to deal with the sexual abuse known as Spanking, and for that matter, those victims of other types of sexual abuse would be set free of their own past. Those memories could be "removed" from the Human mind. The more she thought this over, the more the idea held its appeal. In Day's more than millenium of life, she could be redeemed for her past problems. Day's Father, Tenko Akimura, had given her this invincible body because he wanted his daughter to live. If it was good enough for his daughter, it was good enough for everyone else. This was the next logical step to her. This way she could finally create a paradise of a civilization where the horrible experiences of herh past would not be repeated. So Day began her experiments to create more 'Fang Archetypes' using the assimilator technology of the first Fang. Like her father, she had many failures and deaths for those who volunteered the proceedure. When she finally succeeded in modifying the code and design of the original 'Fang'. The resulting first successes were completely free of their past and any pain. (After the proceedure was complete, those in the process of transforming could not stop screaming just as Day had.) More significantly, with their ability to communicate in a psuedo-telepathic sense due to the transcievers embedded in the base of the brain stem meant that parts of Day's mind and information had joined with theirs. This created loyalty and unity. |
